District Hotel by OYO Portland Convention Center

The staff that I interacted with were very kind and welcoming. They were very helpful and adaptable.

The cleanliness of these rooms is concerning. There were stains on every lamp shade, visible wear and tear of the wooden furniture, the desk chair was broken and you were not able to sit properly. I also saw a roach in my room as well, which made my skin crawl. While the staff are nice, it does not make up for the fact that these rooms are not well kept.

Good location - could reach several bus stops & streetcar stations within just a few blocks from the hotel. So many other things were in walking distance. A 7-11 was just next door.

The commode was leaking so the toilet kept running every minute. The noise was annoying & I felt it's such a waste of clean water. I reported this to the front desk but it was ignored throughout my entire stay. I wore earplugs, whenever in my room, to cut out the irritating sounds. I had no room service through my whole stay. Was I supposed to ask for it? No one mentioned that.

Good location and room had all you need for a short stay.

I did not know there was a breakfast. I liked the location. The front desk person on Thursday was nice.

The office person on Sunday morning was very unkempt and appeared to be on drugs. When I went to the office to check out nobody was there. When I left he called after me and asked if I put the cash in the paper bag (there was a paper bag stuffed in the window). I told him no. Then he told me he was not in the office because he was hiding from somebody. The hotel smelled of cigarette and marajuana smoke.

Easy check-in. Excellent location. Spacious room. Good desk and chairs. Did everything it needed to - super grateful for the well-priced stay!

The room was clean, worn out, but clean.

Hallway smelled Horrid! Did not feel 'safe'.
