On the west coast of Ireland, Berry Lodge Country House at Spanish Point offers bed and breakfast accommodations and is also home to a cooking school. This property borders the N67 road which is the Wild atlantic way. Just outside Miltown Malbay, this County Clare guest house has fine countryside views and offers free on-site parking and Wi-Fi. Each room has a TV, desk and sofa, bottled water and tea and coffee facilities. All have an private bathroom with shower or bath, hairdryer, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. Tea and scones are served upon arrival. In the mornings, Berry Lodge Country House serves full breakfast in the breakfast room. Packed lunches, afternoon snacks, and evening meals are also available by arrangement. A range of cooking courses can be arranged directly with the property. County Clare offers an array of golf courses, with a 9-hole course in Spanish Point itself, and provides stunning locations for walkers, hikers and cyclists. The Shannon Estuary is home to a large population of bottle-nosed dolphins, with dolphin-spotting boat trips a popular local attraction.

- Location was beautiful, loved the home and it's history, the owner and staff could not have done more to give us a warm Irish experience.
- LOVED THIS PLACE! Hotel employee was wonderful, her house was beautiful, and the bed was soooo comfortable! She served us tea when we arrived and a delicious breakfast in the morning. I'll probably not be in this area ever again but if I was definitely stay here!
- Hotel employee was an exceptional host. We were attending a wedding locally and she brought us over to our car the morning after. She also made us breakfast waaaay past the cutoff time - and every bite was great. Great value compared to the other options locally.
Cons -
- Not a thing!
- We had a little bit of trouble finding it, but a local hotel was able to give us directions. The only complaint I had, and it's minor bc we were there to relax not play on the Internet, but the wifi was only available in one room and was pretty slow.
- Nothing. Everything was great.
