The location is fantastic, you really can't beat it as far as proximity to the historical area, as well as highway access to and from the city.
The building has been plagued by HVAC issues forever. My room had no working heat on this stay, which was unsurprising considering my past stays. They should rip the HVAC out and start fresh.

The location was great!
The staff was not helpful. The housekeepers never restocked our coffee in the room. We were told by the girl at the front desk, that we had to come down to desk to get coffee, because “she was all by herself”. When we went to the front desk, she did not have any coffee to give us. Finally, she sent housekeeping to give us coffee. Nobody held doors or said hello when approached. The staff did not want to help when asked or even smile. They should train their people to be kind. We have stayed in Philly several times, and we will choose a different hotel next time we visit.

Location is perfect for us. We like being in old city. Closer to bars/ restaurants and sightseeing places. They lobby and bar area is huge and has a cool vibe. The gym was super nice.
The lobby and bar area was nice but insanely hot. There was not air flow throughout the common areas. I get it can be tough to cool such big rooms but ceiling fans would help. The ac in our room was also not working well and it kept getting so hot in the room all night.

Location was perfect. Rooms were quiet and comfortable.
Parking was expensive, but a garage was available and close that was less than half the cost.

Spacious room with two big beds. They allowed us to enter in the room a lot before the official check in. Nice bathroom and big tv. Nice location near Old City. The employee at office helped us for booking a taxi for the day after.
Noise in the room due to the hotel bar and the hotel configuration. A/C and heating very noisy.
