DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very friendly at the restaurant, and throughout the hotel. The room was super clean and decorated beautifully. The front desk was super accommodating about checking into our room early and it was a smooth experience. We enjoyed the balcony and view from there, and the front desk hooked us up with a wine bottle opener when we realized we forgot one! Access to the beach was perfect and it was such a comfort being able to come right back to our room or enjoy the pool afterward. Our room location was great, and we appreciated the direct access to the parking garage from our room. We can’t wait to come back!

I loved the hot tub, but the amount of young children jumping in and out of it (even with the parents there)kind of took away from the adults being able to enjoy it fully. I feel if there isn’t going to be a lifeguard on duty, rules should be posted for safety reasons first, since the kids were jumping off the side of the hot tub into the pool, which isn’t that deep and I think someone could have gotten hurt. Otherwise it was a nice experience being able to enjoy it to some extent!

the staff was very welcoming and inviting from the moment you check-in. the location is amazing, with the proximity to the beach and the restaurants and shops. I haven't been back to OC in years and it did not disappoint. The beach was very clean and not too crowded. The room was cute, clean and cozy. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub and the free cookies were a bonus!

The location, the cleanliness and room sizes.

There was an issue with the fire alarm during our stay. It kept going off and staff did not explain what the issue was. First time it went off, we evacuated as instructed. I have no issue with evacuating during emergencies. The issue was it went off 3 more times where the message was cut off so we had to check to see if we needed to evacuate and staff said we didn't. It occurred again the next day with the message cut off and when asked staff what the issue was they were vague. I suspect it had something to do with the elevators because they weren't working.

Nice hotel but not worth the money it cost to stay there, was very disappointed with the price for what we went through. The pool on the 4th floor was not even opened, didn’t even have any water in it. Said 2 outside pools, the pool on the 1st floor couldn’t even get in there until after 11:00 am when it was too open at 8:00 am . The hotel looks amazing outside. Holiday Inn is a nicer and cheaper, more things for kids . The 1st floor is terrible for being a so called Oceanfront all you see is weeds .

Very nice hotel. Room was huge! Marlin Moon restaurant has great food. Indoor pool was clean. Exercise room could use update and better working equipment.

I love the rooms and location; I have stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are always clean and roomy. I had a view of the ocean, in spite of having a corner room.

Hotel did not have hot water readily available. You had to run the hot water for twenty minutes or more to get hot water. Showers were very time consuming.

Everything was pretty good, the one thing that was not the staff handled it immediately. The staff was pleasant and welcoming.

The water was coming out of the faucet brown.

Pretty good hotel just a bit pricy

The outdoor pool is extremely small. In length it was really small and then in depth it only went 3ft all around.

Front desk staff as well as the hotel restaurant staff was extremely pleasant and polite and very accommodating and responsive. Free parking was a great perk. Breakfast was great.

Room cleaning left a lot to be desired. Housekeeping never vacuumed the floor or clean the bathroom. Just changed the towels even though the floor clearly needed vacuuming. The service elevator kept making noise which was heard in the room and it woke us up early and often. The balcony always had a puddle of water and we were never able to use it. Understanding it is peak season when we visited, it is still hard to say that what we paid for the stay was worth it.
