Wyndham New Orleans - French Quarter

It has a good location, it’s easy to get to, and the parking is nice. We were really high up so we had an amazing view of the river. The beds were very comfortable, and there is a mini fridge and microwave in the room.

They don’t have their own breakfast, but they do offer a $15 meal voucher for the restaurant next door. We ate there the morning we checked out, and while it was a convenient location, the food was kind of bland and underwhelming. Plus, even though we were the only customers at 8:30 am, they were blasting music so loud my mom and I could barely hear each other.

Nice hotel and was very clean. The location was just a few minutes from Bourbon street which was perfect for our stay.

The water pressure was low and it took a while to drain out of the tub- that was a little annoying.

Parking was $40/day and on-site which is cheaper than most hotels. The staff was polite. There is a doorman and it felt safe entering and exiting the building.That's about the only nice thing I can say

The building has clearly been updated from an older hotel - but more like lipstick on a pig, however the photos online DO NOT represent the actual product. And it was way too expensive for what we got! The room was small and smelled damp. I discovered someone else's blood on the bottom of the duvet of the bed I slept in - after I slept in it. The shower wasn't functioning properly. I was afraid to put my suitcase on the ground for fear the potential for bedbugs. We were grossed out enough by the condition that we literally paid $900 and booked another hotel for the remainder of the trip because we didn't want to stay there any longer. I didn't ask for a refund because I had pre-paid and had no way of proving the blood was not mine. They clearly didn't wash all of the linens though, which makes you wonder what other corners they skipped.

The rooms were clean and tidy.

The refrigerator made a horrible sound.

Friendliness of staff and coupon offers. Spacious rooms.

Lack of bath soap or shower gel and no lotions provided.

In exactly the right place to enjoy the French Quarter. And a short walk to my conference hotel. Best combination. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I had some trouble regulating the air conditioning. Not serious.

Excellent Location. Comfortable rooms. Very good security. Staff was always attentive to any requirements.

While the location was fantastic, it did mean that it was noisy over the weekend, making it hard to sleep.

This hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were very friendly and respectful. I also like how they lock the main doors at 9pm and you have to use your room key to enter the building.
