The Kidman Wayside Inn

The reception staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was comfortable.

No complaints.

Room was very spacious, adequate room to park outside the room, very clean and a quite location.

Relatively close to town. Assigned parking was convenient. Staff were helpful.

Neighbours talking loud and smoking outside ruined the stay. Limited lights in parking area if you arrive at night.

Room was clean and was in one of the renovated areas, so the bathroom was nice and new. It was lucky that my two rooms were next door to each other.

Old fashioned key, big and bulky. Would prefer swipe card as easier to carry. In the second room, my daughter noticed a towel was dirty or hard marks on it that looked like it had been used to wipe dirt. There was another towel available, so I didn't make a fuss. Not sure why you can't park rear to curb.

Family room was very spacious, beds comfy, quiet room, and breakfast was good.

Well, bed very uncomfortable, pillows were hard as a rock, heating/aircon system old and dusty, on my second night stay, in the morning there was absolutely no hot water, so could not take a shower in the morning. Very disappointing stay, will be my last time staying there.

Staff were very friendly and helpful the entire time, absolutely enjoyed dealing with them. Would be back solely because of the positive interactions over the phone with them Enjoyed the size of the room and that it was away from the road so it was quiet, which was perfect.Happy they provide a breakfast service that’s sent to your room.

There’s a mineral issue with the hot water system. We booked the room specially for the spa bath and the water was brown. Had to empty it and then balance out the hot and cold water to make it a less brown as possible. Side note with the breakfasts, they didn’t mention there was a secret window slot where the food was put. We had to call to ask about why the breakfast hadn’t been received yet (it had). But they were very helpful and polite when explaining this to us.

The room location was quiet which meant we could sleep undisturbed. The room was adequate and after sorting out being placed into the wrong room everything was fine.

Air conditioner has no oscillating blade as it sits on the curtain pelmet. When we turned it on dead flies went everywhere Nowhere comfortable to sit The dining chairs are 2 low for the desk to be used with a laptop If you try sit on the bed to watch television you hit your head on the lights above the bed headThe shower cubicle is too small for a 6’1 manNowhere to put your stuff down in the bathroom Fridge was overloaded with stuff for sale nowhere to place personal items We are working travellers, we take frozen meals etc to work on a budget and don’t go out after work

This location was clean and the reception staff friendly. This was perfect for a quick work stop.

Welcoming, friendly staff. Room was spacious and well equiped. Comfy bed.

Flap on the air conditioner was broken off so could not angle the air to stop it blowing directly on the bed.

The Gardens are very neglected, could do with a water even.

Easy check in, close to the centre of town. Large rooms.

I liked how spacious the rooms were enough space for everyone to sleep and hang out. The beds were very comfy. I definitely had a very good night's sleep.

The last time I stayed at the Kidman way - I only paid $160.00 / night and the room was much bigger - only 12 months ago !This time I paid $185.00/night and the room was much smaller. I thought it was an expensive stay for one night stay !

Location, cleanliness, spacious room.

Bed was a bit hard, but that's a personal preference.
