Disappointing

It is no longer a quality what it used to be. They do not clean rooms every day (due to hygienic restrictions they say), if you need a new towel you can get one at a shelf in the corridor, they do not empty your bin...overall everyday service is poor. Carpets everywhere are dirty and smelly. A guest in the neighbouring room was smoking in the balcony from early morning (4am) and all that bad smell went to my room. Breakfast choice is poor and expensive to what you get. I will not return there.

Lovely hotel, great restaurant with good food at good value.. buffet for €21pp with free cold drinks. Parking was free.

No croissant or fruit salad for breakfast. Pillows were far too soft and bulky.

Great location and really good value. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. The continental breakfast is good with a decent selection.

It maybe could do with modernisation but that might take away from the charm of the place.

The room and hotel was old, run down, the room smelled a bit. Room was dark, bathroom, old and shower rather disgusting. The hotel itself needs updating and repair. The walls were thin and there was a lot of noise at night, people drinking and partying a bit, being loud. Also, in the parking lot were work vans and trucks and workers drinking beer in their cars, The lobby is rather odd. The hallways were cold and completely dark, I had to use the light on my cell phone to find my way. Cold, drab, old, smelly, out dated. Also, there's Nothing nearby at all. The Hotel has a buffet for dinner which was actually decent, but it closes rather early and then there's zero chance to have a drink, or sit at a bar or in a lounge to relax, etc. They close up and leave... so, that means the night is over for you too. No options for guests. to be honest, I could not wait to leave this place in the morning.

coffee maker in room would be handy.not a location if you like to walk to restaurants! but many cute towns close with the car

quiet and peaceful location

We have stayed at this hotel maybe 8 times of more and our stay has always been excellent in every respect but this time was nothing short of a disaster really.On this occasion we had to pay in full on arrival only to find out that the hotel did not make up the rooms i.e make the beds, clean the rooms, empty the bins, clean the bathroom, provide fresh towels or even empty the sanitary bin - all apparently due to the COVID situation. We were told that they might do this for us on request but we needed to TOTALLY vacate the room and wait in the corridor with our luggages, wheelchair and all other belongings. l enquired at other hotels in the area and they did not have this policy. My fully vaccinated mother who is not only disabled but must change her sanitary towels regularly needed a restful and hygienic environment and sadly the latter was simply not provided even though we still had to pay full price for what was essentially an incomplete hotel service. No concession was offered. Also the evening meals previously consisted of not only a buffet but also an alternative table menu, but this has been sadly dropped, so it’s either the buffet or nothing which we found very limited.The only good point I can say at this time is that the few staff that were there were very polite and accommodating.

Could not book in till 16:00 and out by 11:00 there was no bar facilities untill the evening, there was vending machines, the room was ok for 1 night shower was broken, and kept going all over place tv was from 19th century,
