Friendly hosts but room is very cramped.
I booked this hostel because of the high review rating the good price, and the location to the main square. We liked the location; less than a 10 minute walk up hill. I would consider this place a bed and breakfast as the rooms are in the owner’s home. We found them to be helpful, personable, and, they spoke English. I liked the little patio outside our room and upon request, the owner brought out patio chairs and a table for us. Breakfast was nice and the coffee was wonderful.
I gave this place a lower review due to the the room being very tiny and the bed being too hard. It was difficult to maneuver around for two people and there was no room for a night table and no reading lamp. The only surface for our suitcases was on the bottom of the bunkbed, and that area was quite dark and awkward. The owner had said she could address the hard bed, but then forgot to until I reminded her on the third day. We stayed 3 nights. (It might have been fine for a night for 2 people with very little luggage.) I thought the price was still a bit high for the value.
