Restaurant-Hotel de Watergeus

Very nice smaller hotel on the shore of the lake. The rooms are large with a separate bedroom and the possibility of preparing hot drinks. Everywhere was beautifully cleaned. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts are tasty and varied. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. The surroundings are attractive for walks and boat rides. I highly recommend the hotel

A really great place, most friendly staff and wonderful area. The rooms were quite large, good quality, the breakfast good and best of all is the area around and the village next to the lake. Certainly a place we'd go back without hesitation

Area can be ridden with mosquitoes, fortunately the rooms all have good nets against the beasts, but care must be taken when doors/windows are open. One thing that could be improved is to have better blinds, or better still proper curtains as the current blinds to not darken enough the room and particularly in the summer, when the sun is out by 5am, it's difficult to sleep.

Good location able to store bike with the staff's bikes. Big room with kitchen area and sofa plus chairs. Eat in or there are two restaurants in Norden approx half mile walk. (the Clinker Eetcafe remains our 1st choice) Good breafast, an excellant bike tour stopping point.

We got what we expected, very good price-value ratio, a spacious room, comfy armchairs, and a great breakfast. The lakeside is very beautiful and inviting, unfortunately we had to leave for other programs the next day.

There is no proper transportation

Having visited a number of times, the owner is always welcoming and attentive to detail.The rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of space.The breakfast is always lovely, with lots to choose from and will fill you up for the day.

A small fridge in the room would be useful, especially if you are staying longer than a couple of days.

Great location outside of Amsterdam. Cozy family run place with a great restaurant and comfortable room. Love the neighborhood and the friendly people! Would go back to stay here anytime and highly recommend this place!

I couldn't get the glass in the shower to stay in an appropriate position in order to block water from getting on the floor.

Great place to stay. The room was spacious, very tidy and clean and had basic necessities (i.e., kettle, tv, etc.). I stayed in Monday so there were no staff around (not really an issue for me)

We liked the central location of the hotel, which allowed us to easily explore nearby attractions.The restaurant impressed us with its high-end ambiance and quality food.The dishes we tried were delicious and well-prepared, and the service was excellent.We appreciated the availability of seasonal cuisine during our visit.The room was very spacious, with a comfortable living room area and a large bed.The beautiful view of the garden from our room was a highlight.

One negative experience was an additional charge on our bill that we were not informed about.The kitchen in the accommodation lacked equipment, with only one fork, knife, and limited dishes.We would have preferred to see more flowers in the garden to enhance the view.The breakfast seemed overpriced for the limited variety of food available, and we felt a nearby cafe would have provided better value for money.

Superb location in a relaxing neighborhood! You can walk with your dog (without leash) nearby.

You need few minutes to reach the hotel from motorway, but the location is just superb.
