Coronado Island Marriott Resort Hotel
The three-story Coronado Island Marriott is set on 16 waterfront acres just shy of the Coronado Bridge. While the interior public spaces are sleek and urbane, and the 300 rooms and suites are soft, subtle and upscale. Many boast waterfront views from private balconies. Decked out in soft beiges with plush seating and high-end beds, rooms include deluxe bathrooms with walk-in showers and oversized tubs. TThose looking to mellow can chill by one of three heated pools, be rubbed, scrubbed and pampered at the spa or sip cocktails while drinking in bayside views. More energetic types can work it at the fitness center or hop on the bike trail right outside. Parking is an additional fee. The hotel charges a resort fee that includes a daily fitness class, bottled water, boogie board, beach chair and bike rentals and free Wi-Fi.
