Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine

The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. The lobby , pool , fire area hang out were extremely amazing.

We were hoping to get new sheets and room cleaned while we were out during the morning and most of the afternoon . Unfortunately we did not get room cleaning until after 4pm and we had our baby down for a nap . We also would have liked for out bathroom to have a fan that could circulate the air in when showering and etc.

Lovely hotel. Food was good. Staff were always very helpful.

Overpriced rooms, paid overpriced parking, paid breakfast (breakfast should be included in room price), elevators were few and slow and crowded, absence of stairway to the lobby, absence of locks for the bathroom, super small eefregiratkrs, early check-out.

Fabulous place, very much a resort. Super clean, quiet, and spacious. Good location. Lots of places to relax throughout the hotel. Drift Restaurant was great. Beautiful facilities and decor.

Extra cost for parking was not disclosed even when I first ask what was the cost for Valet. The added the 2 days self parking in final bill. Also, after we left there was an added $30 fee to the total cost of final bill. Very unhappy with these extra charges that were not disclosed upfront by hotel staff.

Friendly staff. Great location near restaurants and the freeway.

The hotel itself is really great! I am sad I was only there for a night as I just needed a place to sleep, shower and lounge a bit as it was the closest to the UCSD Jacobs hospital. I enjoy how beautiful the hotel is and the rooms were clean!

I didn't like how you have to pay extra for parking. I also didn't appreciate the valet staff as they were a little rude. As someone that is not familiar with the area or been at that hotel of course I have questions regarding parking and how to get around, however, one seemed annoyed. I was able to park outside in the street and the walk wasn't any different than inside the parking structure. Other than that, everyone else was amazing.
