Thanks for all Amy. It has been a pleasure to stay at your hotel 9 incredibles days. It has seem as to be at home. If you want to enjoy then amazing nature of Yangshuo, this is the best place. Also, the food of the hotel, was very good. All our meals were there. Amy helped us all the questions or needs we had as to rent a scooter, a tuktuk, etc

The Old Manor House is an absolutely stunning property, in a beautiful location, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Amy is a really wonderful host, and felt like a friend more than a hotel manager during the trip. She went out of her way to make us feel at home, and was very knowledgable about the area and helpful in assisting us with our plans. She was lovely to talk to and was always smiley and chatty. Plus, her English is excellent. Thank you Amy :-) The other staff members we met were also helpful, kind and friendly. The property has real character. We stayed in two rooms, both of which were interesting and unique. Although we stayed in twin rooms, there were essentially two double beds, both of which were extremely comfortable. The layout of the property is really interesting and quirky, and everything has been very tastefully restored and/or preserved. It's really quite beautiful and photogenic. Check posts on instagram under #oldmanorhouseyangshuo if you don't believe me :-) The area is perfect, next to the Yulong river and set among karst crags, and with beautiful cycle or walking trails within easy reach. There's also an excellent coffee shop 100 yards down the road. Amy is very helpful with arranging taxis or providing free cycles. The food was also excellent - all local produce with a diverse range of choices and all very tasty. There is a good range of breakfast choices. It's certainly one of the most atmospheric places I've stayed, and the friendliness of the staff really adds to the experience!

There are only some very minor things that could be improved - overall it was almost faultless! I think the bathrooms could be improved slightly to bring them up to the standard of the rest of the property. The bathrooms did not feel quite as nicely equipped or furnished as other rooms. The towels could also be a little higher quality (I realise this is a very very minor gripe!). I also think the breakfasts could be made a little simpler - there is almost too much food and sometimes we felt we didn't need as much as was provided! Overall though, it was a really wonderful stay! I would definitely recommend the Old Manor House for anyone travelling to Yangshuo.
