Peaceful, relaxing, brilliant food, accommodating staff from Angela (manager), Aaron, Swift, Andre & [Link Redacted]
This was very peaceful, quiet, relaxing. I needed it because my holiday was to attend my Dads funeral. I’m so glad I picked this hotel. On a daily basis you could hear beautiful nature,ie, frogs/birds and this added to its wow factor. I loved the food and the chef Andre cooked what I requested so I had Jamaican food daily. It was finger licking good. The hominy porridge took me back to childhood and the meals he prepared for my son and I were of a high standard. I give 10 out of 10 for the food he cooked. He’s an asset to this hotel.
I liked everything about my stay at the mockingbird including it not having air conditioning. It was not an issue for me and the ceiling and wall fans were adequate. Plus, the doors and windows had shutters so there was sufficient ventilation. Only, one thing I’d like is a suitable weighing machine for guest to weigh their luggage when leaving. I bought quite a few gifts and it would’ve been nice to know if I was over my airplane weight before I left for the airport. Swimming a bit small. But, this is minor.

The experience is so personalized that it felt like we were visiting someone's home
It's very warm in this part of Jamaica and the hotel doesn't have air conditioning. While we were comfortable, I do wish there was some type of cooler/refrigerators in the room to keep chilled drinks and food.
