I loved that it was quiet.Very nice place full of history. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Staff was great and kind.

Beautiful hotel, could easily have been one of the historic paradores. Very peaceful location with lovely gardens. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The bath/shower was rather difficult to get into/out of for anyone not young and fit! Nothing to hold on to. The toilet was set into the wall and too high for me. But these were minor issues.

Very special place to stay. It is of outstanding beauty. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bed is huge and comfortable. Breakfast is of good quality, with natural orange juice and variety of breads for toast. The recepcionist was super friendly.

Ambience

There was a holly comunion (private event) during our stay, it was very noisy and when we were at the pool the children where running around and the animators where putting music at maximum volume… very disturbing for guests.. we couldn’t relax at all. We also paid for the spa and half of the rooms where not working (the wet room, turkish bath and sauna) did not work but we were charged full price and where told about this when we were there.

no staff, very hard to communicate with staff as only one English speaking staff member (who was lovely), spa facility closed for massages, again shortage of staff, no orientation on arrival.

The rooms were huge and very comfortable. The staff very helpful and the breakfast delicious.

The pool tiles were a bit old. One other small point, the tv was a bit small for the size of the room!

We loved it and will definitely come back. Awesome location, rooms are excellent (we got an upgrade to a suite and had an amazing view above the wine), dinner in the restaurant was great and it is 100% worth it. This is really a place to come down, to relax and to enjoy some quiet time.

The possibility to eat lunch would be great.

Reception desk could be more accommodating.The signposting in the hotel should be better.There is no bar in the hotel, which is in the middle of now where.COVID seems to be taken as an excuse not to deliver basic services.
