Nice staff, weird toilet.
Very nice staff, amazing view.
The toilet was upside down, meaning the water hole was farther from the wall.

Traveling as a Couple

Many flaws, errors and amateurism. Our stay was terrible.
Friendly staff and size of the room.
A bad smell of garbage and sewage in the bathroom*, no breakfast due to ‘technical problem’, most of the staff speaks nothing but Hungarian, no hairdryer in the bedroom, on the second day the room was not cleaned, curtains don’t close off the room entirely.
*On the first night, the bathroom filled with a garbage and sewage kind of air. After alarming the manager (she speaks only Hungarian and had to call her husband, who also speaks only Hungarian, and her English speaking son), they tried to fix the situation. While standing outside for a while, I noticed the same smell and informed them about it. They took this for granted and explained there was no problem in the bathroom. Later they asked us to leave the fan (which connects the bathroom with outside) on and to open the bathroom door all the time in order to prevent ‘more dirty air’ from coming in. We did so, but within a day the smell returned (less strong, but it did). We had to close the bathroom door and didn’t shower much (who wants to shower in a space which smells like a garbage can?). It was terrible.
Due to ‘a technical problem’ there was no breakfast. The staff offered to fill up our fridge, but we requested our money for breakfast back instead, which was granted. There where also other flaws like not cleaning the room on the second day, no hair dryer in the room.
The staff was friendly and didn’t mean bad. They have to get their act together though in order to receive (foreign) guests who expect a proper hotel or ‘panzion’.
