Important Information
All guests need to be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) or Hosteling International. Membership can be purchased at the reception upon arrival. It costs EUR 7 per year for Guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 22.50 for families or guests aged 27 and above. Each year from June onwards, membership will be half price for guests purchasing a DJH membership for the first time. Foreign guests need a Hosteling International Card (EUR 18), if they are not member of a national Hosteling Federation. For single overnight stays a welcome stamp can purchase on arrival, which costs EUR 3.50. Please note that check-in is not possible after 19:30. Please note that for bookings of 6 guests or more, special terms and additional supplements may apply.

I like the staff I could met st the very first day. He was so nice fir this foreign visitor
I wish there were any elevator, or i wish they had asked if i prefer lower places with heavy suitcases. But everything was totally fine

Breakfast!
Breakfast is not only included but also the area is clean, well organized. Bread are so fresh and the dips provided here are quite special, tasty and healthy (all vegetarian :D)
The dining area is also beautiful and diverse. You can eat indoors or stay outside for a bit sunshine and lake view. And you can find growing beans at the backyard. Beautiful
Staffs are all very nice, helpful, relaxed and calm
Good Location:
. well connected with Bus (the hostel also provides daily free transportation card during the stay)
. about 15-20 minutes away (by foot) to Autofähre, where one can take a 15-min ferry (3.6/6 Euro for single/return) directly to Meersburg(faster and cheaper than from the Hafen near the central station)
Loudy Internet
(urgent need for improvement, from the guests’ point of view)
bad Internet connection, except for the reception area (only);
If ones turn on their mobile data, one can be the Swiss operator and another can be the German one… if you change the location slightly, it switches network operators in an irregular pattern (confused)
No elevators：
can be bothered for one who has many luggages or with physical difficulties. Need to note this before booking.
Noise：
a machine on the bottom floor that runs 24 hours a day- it may be important but is quite noisy.
