The access to the beach

Pool was nice.

Check-in was awkward because of miscommunication between staff members. information we were sent said call office at least an hour before you arrive so you can be greeted by someone. We called, an employee told us that the owner liked to greet ppl but she had plans that evening so just go ahead and let ourselves into the unit with the code we were given and she would probably reach out the following day just to meet us. Owner called a few hours later and asked us whey we hadn't called before we arrived so she could be there. She said she had cancelled her plans just to be there. I tole her we did call and that her employee told us to go ahead. She made kind of a big deal over us not following covid protocol. She said she needed to take our temperatures before she let us in safely and protect her staff. I told her we were vaccinated and I assured her we were not sick. She said fine she would see us later. Then she showed up unannounced and took my husband's temperature. She wanted to take mine but I wasn't dressed and she didn't want to wait so she left. As we were leaving she came back and I offered to have her take it but she said it's ok. Owner then apologized for the confusion and blamed staff. Then the refrigerator smelled terribly like fish whenever you opened it. Staff was responsive and sent someone over as quickly as they could. Girl cleaned it again but there was still a bit of a smell so we sprayed drawers with Ozium and got rid of the smell. Nothing terrible just something that should not have been missed when there was so much emphasis put on the covid cleanliness of the place and all their germ precautions. There was one real problem however, the terrible internet connection. My husband had a project that he had to work on at the last minute for his office and what should have taken a couple of hours turned into an all day ordeal because of the internet being so slow and spotty.
