The hotel should be more honest about it's present situation and future plans to close for modernisa
A wonderful location, but that is not enough, you also require quality services which do not exist today.
The hotel will close mid-December 2021 for complete restauration. Services have been run down, restaurant and bar operate with only minimum services, breakfast and evening menu dissappointing. Even gardens and balcon are not well maintained. It makes no sense to use this hotel as long as all restauration and new building work is completed.

Always appreciate the location (and the car parking), Friendly and efficient staff,
Have stayed at La Fleur du Lac several times. It's a lovely lakeshore location with views across to Evian and Mont Blanc. The rooms were refurbished a while ago but are still OK to judge by the most recent stay, notably the bathroom.
The staff are in almost all cases welcoming and efficient. And it has off-street parking for cars.
The fact that the in-house restaurant was closed (it used to be quite good). The hotel staff said the closure was only temporary and the restaurant was now under separate management, but according to a local taxi driver there was a question mark over the future of the hotel itself. The building itself is unprepossessing and showing its age, but I hope the hotel survives.
