Everything! The setting is on a large lot that seems like one is a guest invited to a wealthy family's hunting lodge. The grounds are forest-like, and offer picnic tables, BBQ, and a fire pit with in-the-round chairs and an antique ashtray that harkened back to an era when many in those chairs would have been smoking cigars. And if inclement weather keeps you inside, there's a reading room with board games, a bar equipped with the tools of the trade you need to be your own bartender, and the ambiance of the study where gentlemen once adjourned for brandy and cigars. Of course, both ladies and gentlemen may now adjourn to the study; however, you have to bring your own brandy or other libation, and fortunately, for reasons healthful and considerate of others and sticking to the rules, no cigars! A three-course breakfast was served, each on different during our 3-day stay. Here's a blended menu from those breakfasts: granola-yogurt-citrus parfait, blueberry-almond milk smoothie, and egg-in-a-hole: egg, bacon, local cheese on bread, roasted in the oven, then finished with a light touch of maple syrup. And, of course, coffee, which was outstanding. I have never had better breakfasts in a B&B, and I doubt I ever will ... unless I return to Au Clos Rolland. The warm hospitality and service of everyone who hosted us was A+, gold-medal, #1!

The breakfasts were outstanding. Creative, delicious and service was good. Lots of good hot coffee

the refrigerator that was provided for guests did not function, and we were not aware of this until the following morning. My husband's diabetes medication was intended to be kept cold, but was warm. We had to find a pharmacy to replace the insulin. We also had some excellent boar pate and cheese which we had to throw out as well. This problem was fixed the next day. A small point...additional pillow on the bed would have been great for those who read in bed
