A professional but very friendly welcome when we arrived. Lovely room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast (vegan) was as ordered and the table was laid for us before we arrived in the dining room - having been met in the reception area and shown to our table. Olde world charm in a modern setting.

If a vegan spread had been offered for the bread at breakfast it would have been a nice final touch.

delightful small hotel in the centre of the beautiful town of La Roche Bernard. Within walking distance of several good bars and restaurants and a ten minute walk to the stunning quay side. The hostess, Audrey, could not have been more helpful. The breakfast is excellent and served with a smile. This is your third air fourth visit.

Buffet breakfast very prescriptive; one must decide the night before what one wants to eat. And that is what you get, and absolutely nothing else!Staff a little condescending, but that's a personal dislike, not a general complaint.

Our second overnight stay in this hotel was pleasant and comfortable. Parking near the hotel was difficult at first, although parking spaces became available as evening progressed. Food in the restaurant and at breakfast were extremely good, although the restaurant tends to be very hushed and the cuisine is perhaps just a tiny fraction over-ambitious and elaborate - although that may simply reflect our tastes. Overall value for money remains very good.

The lack of dedicated parking in such a busy small town is a handicap, but it is unlikely anything could be done about it by the hotel so it is an issue to be aware of, not really a criticism.

The accommodation was lovely, large rooms with en suite. The location was perfect to explore this lovely town. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants.

Large comfortable room overlooking the front of the Hotel. Some stairs to negotiate so could be difficult for those who have mobility issues. There was a lift so other rooms are available. Very positive and helpful welcome from the staff at reception. Excellent breakfast in a bright garden room.

Very comfortable rooms and beds with high quality bedding. The staff were very friendly. There was a safe place to store bikes. Town is only a few minutes away.

Comfortable room , lovely dinner, quality table presentation and tableware. Friendly, helpful manager. No complaints!

Lovely building in lovely town. Very spacious rooms.

Bed collapsed during the night and was left tilting at an angle. No receptionist to complain to so had a very uncomfortable night with little sleep. When we complained about it in the morning the receptionist was well aware that the bed was broken because they were waiting for someone to fix it. They could therefore have given us a different room on check in because the hotel did not seem full.

A beautiful building. All the staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for you. Perfectly placed at the top of the village and opposite a superb pub.
