Loved it!
The host is also the local shopkeeper and runs the little museum under the apartment. Roberto can tell you everything about the little village!
The shower was a bit wonky, could do with a bit of attention.

Nice apartment with authentic details and unique host
The highlight of this apartment is the host, Roberto. He is a very dedicated man, a local patriot for Umbria and also a well-informed man. The breakfast is included in the price and Roberto serves it in his shop which is 20 meters away. He offers local products which are excellent, tasty and high quality.
The apartment is a renovated small, one bedroom flat in and old stone house with lots of authentic details. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen includes an oven, fridge. You can park your car free of charge 20 meters from the apartment. Montecchio is a tiny village on a hill, very peaceful and quiet.
Wifi is in the public spaces which is Roberto's shop (he says there will be internet connection in the apartment from May).

Quaint, quiet location inside an old castle. friendly owner. great breakfast in owners little grocery shop.
Bathroom shower has low pressure and spray goes all over in stead of straight down.
