Traveling as a Couple

The location, the swimming pool in the garden, the little working water mill that was still being used to grind corn, and the woodland view from each of the six apartments. This, and the peace and tranquillity of the little valley in which it was all set, all ensured that it was to be rather a magical place. An extra dimension was that the owner, who ran a bakery business in an adjacent village, each morning delivered warm bread rolls and a loaf for breakfast. She was very attentive in ensuring that we should be comfortable and enjoy our stay. One morning she took the time to show us around the mill and explain how it worked. She used it herself to grind the corn for her own business, so it made for a fascinating treat.
The property was difficult to find owing to it being reached by a a track from the main road. The track was difficult to locate. A phone call to the owner resolved things straight away.
