for e two star hotel, the standard was hi.lovely village, perfect for our stop over a rest between two long drives, dinner room breakfast, a walk into the village and a swim.
Kids loved the outdoor pool, good for adults too. Spacious, quiet rooms. Very good restaurant and wines! Kids got handmade nuggets and fries to eat. Free parking. Friendly staff.

it was super cold in the room although heat was on max. It was end of November.
The room was clean. Please note that the Comfort Rooms are in the building to the street. And not at all the ones shown on Booking.
Our room was above the restaurant kitchen. There was no door, so the kitchen odors where quite pervasive. Opening the windows was also not a good idea as they give to the parking lot.
Breakfast was very good,Dinner in the evening was in topexellent wines ,we went to the winery in heiligenstein and bougth soe of the rose`| we got at the hoteland also to mention the lovely swimmingpool
