Location in the historic centre was nice, though a bit of an uphill hike from the train station to reach it. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the balcony had a clothesline and pins so we were able to wash some clothing which is a nice bonus for us as we travel light with only carry on bags. Also located near a park and with lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the area. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Room had a mini fridge with bottled water which we appreciated as it was quite warm during our stay.

Noise from the restaurant directly below us went on until midnight, not a problem for me as I wear earplugs but hubby wasn't able to get to sleep. The next night the restaurant was closed, but there was clattering and banging from 3-5 am in the street. Earplugs definitely recommended. Breakfast was OK, we had juice, coffee/tea, yogurt, plus packaged croissants and a plain cake, both of which were quite dry. The second morning we had just coffee and yogurt, then went to a bar down the street for a fresh brioche. The breakfast room is quite small, with seats for only 6-7 guests, so you may have to wait, or eat standing up if it's busy, as they have 7 rooms.
