Pleasant Motel Stay in Castlegar
Pleasant COVID safe check-in. Excellent wifi. Good AC/heat/fan unit. Good lighting in room. Several outlets to plug in personal devices. Spacious room - double queen with kitchenette. Double ceiling fans, one above each bed. Good, comfortable mattress with clean good quality linens. Room smelled fresh and was clean in the most important places. Good water pressure and hot water. Basic needs meet with kitchenette. Parking area lite very well at night.
Would benefit from a deep clean in corners, window sills (inside and outside), etc. Needs maintenance and updating - damaged sections of bathroom wall held by packing tape, carpets very stained and upholstered furniture stained. Smokers sitting outside their front doors smoking. Couldn't get hotplate to function so only microwave for 'cooking'. Traffic noise from highway is only tolerable by running the AC unit for background noise.
