The property itself is fabulous with elegant furnishings and decor. The pool/patio area was quite appealing and there was a comfortable seating area in front of the inn. The history of the inn is so interesting and we're happy to see it preserved in such a beautiful way.

The description of breakfast was misleading. It stated that breakfast would be "served" in the dining room or patio/pool area. In fact, it was a "self serve" breakfast including making our own toast. That, in itself wasn't a problem; the description should just should be modified. The description of the property was also misleading;, it stated that our room had a "private" entrance, which was not the case. It also said there was a patio; there was a completely enclosed patio with only 1 chair and the floor was covered with leaves and debris. (Other than the patio, the property was clean.) The towel rack on the wall kept falling off the wall. The screen door to the patio was difficult to open until we applied WD40. There were incorrect instructions on how to operate the room fan so we had to get assistance. The shower leaked and the temperature unit should be replaced as it didn't work properly.
