Lovely to stay in an old homestead.
Our room,the Randolph Stow, had a comfortable bed with period furniture. The communal areas had comfortable seating and most evenings we had the company of other guests at the dining table. We particularly liked sitting outside in the seating area accessible from our room via French doors, listening to the birds.
While the kitchen was well kept and was as clean as it could be with dated equipment, it is time to update it with more modern appliances, if the owner wants to keep the property’s previously high ratings.

It was bizarre. Not a soul around. Dirty fridge in the kitchen, smelly bathroom. So much potential wasted
