It was beautiful, a great location, and had fantastic amenities. Perfect for a romantic couples getaway.
The AC couldn’t keep up with the heat at all. They put the air vents near the windows which prevented the room from getting below 75 degrees. We had to get a fan the first night and the second night they had to bring us a window unit. They had to do that for almost the entire place. The maintenance man said that the AC unit needed to be replaced. They also didn’t offer to comp any of our stay. For that price, we should have at least gotten a free night.

Beautiful traditional and historic hotel in an important historic area. It was totally refurbished about 20 years ago , and the original charm and atmosphere were preserved. Furnishings are timeless and exquisite. Service is personal. Hotel is very expensive but worth every dollar. It also helps support the Williamsburg Foundation which reminds us of our heritage as Americans.

The location is perfect. The Inn itself is lovely and set on beautiful grounds.
We were not able to have breakfast in the restaurant even though there were only two of us and there were two empty tables. The hostess told us it would be a long wait because the servers were too busy to clear tables. We checked back in 10 minutes and were turned away again.

The rooms and location are great.
Had some issues with billing that the staff was confused about. All straightened out now.
