Hotel Sant Celoni

I liked the relaxed easy-goingness of the reception dude, both staff members I met allowed me store mi bicycle in the safe garage. The hotel was in a quiet location, quarter an hour walking from the center.

I missed the breakfast option (off season?).

The main thing in its favour is that it was a bed in a town where there appeared to be little in the way of accommodation options, which was a shame. the national parks near the town were lovely to walk in so a visit to the area is worthwhile. the pressure of the water in the shower was good and water was plentiful

the hotel has none of the advertised facilities, no restaurant and whilst technically a reception existed communication was poor. There was a fridge but it had not been cleaned so was mouldy and mildewed inside. it also smelt like it was overheating and made the area around it very hot. the safe didn't work at all. there was a built in hairdryer in the bathroom but the fan in it didn't work so it smelt of burning immediately when turning on. the aircon / heater didn't actually blow out air. there were holes in the sheets. the photographs of the hotel in the advertising were nothing like what it was actually like

For a night sleep on a longer travel it was just fine. Large grocery store in walking distance where I also parked my car.

It was as expected for the price. I did'nt search for a luxury stay.

We didn’t have the breakfast

There was a buzzing noise coming down from upstairs. We think it may have to do with the bathroom door upstairs not been closed and the air con unit being above the door may have meant that it had to work overtime. We heard the same noise from our bathroom until we closed the door.Suggest they put a notice up in the rooms saying to close the bathroom door when the air conditioning is on.It didn’t keep me awake but it did my husband until he put some ear plugs in.

Location and Parking

There was only 1 bed for my partner, my daughter and me.

The room was basic. The bed was ok. The fridge was nice to have. Air conditioning worked very well.

There is no kettle or coffee. Room is very small.

The reviews were not good but we found the hotel to be clean, easy to find with good parking. It is only a 10 minute walk to the centre where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Very good access to the motorway the next morning.

comfortable, clean. just needed a place to sleep between destinations and it worked out great

in the part of town that had no restaurants or activity. so you will need to drive to eat

There were many parking spaces and a big super market next to the hotel. Also it was quite.

The room was old and a lot of things needed fixing or updating. Plus it was obviously not well cleaned as we found a condom in the bathroom. Overall disappointing and pricey for what it offers.

Highly underrated hotel in a nice town with very helpful front desk.
