Good short stay with family
Good location in a quaint little village, exactly as described and shown.
Hassle free check-in with 2 dogs (€8 per dog per night).
Very clean, and ample bath linen.
Good view from the balcony and decently equipped kitchen.
Quiet surroundings, and great value for money for the 2 nights we stayed here.
- Lady at the restaurant didn't speak English and we had a difficult time gesturing to make her understand that we were just loading/ unloading stuff into our car (4 adults, an infant and 2 dogs in winter, phew!)
- We couldn't park at the dedicated hotel guest parking when we arrived (other cars parked haphazardly) and were not permitted to park right outside the premises. However, there were restaurant patrons parked in front (and some cars parked even overnight). We just parked across the road.
- The infant's bed was a raised playpen. We were requested to bring "linen" which we did, but weren't provided any mattress.

Good retreat in a quiet location
The hotel is in a quiet location. Barely any sounds. The staff were really friendly. I had a good time there. I was there to do some local hikes and drive around the southern black forest regions. This place was a nice starting point for a lot of small trips.
In general, everything was good and value for money.
