Outside seating area was comfortable and had a nice view

There were ants and cockroaches in the kitchen which we weren’t warned about and as a result had to throw out a lot of food. There is no A/C so the unit is very hot with mosquitoes biting you as you sleep. When we first booked it the pictures in ad on booking app were completely misleading. We would not have booked the property if we had known. When we were informed by the host of the real unit and politely requested to cancel 2h after we booked it (for a stay ~1,5 months in advance). The host refused and requested €119 as cancellation fee. We felt this was unfair given the quick reaction and fact cancellation was caused by the misleading photos. The host proceeded to raise the cancellation fee by the hour to €200+ practically forcing us to come.

Quiet location

The host didn't prepare for our arrival at all. When we arrived at 6:45pm, no heat in this large 2 bedroom apartment at about 15 degrees. After dinner @9pm we got back noticing the sign in the kitchen "water not suitable for drinking". When I asked about the heat, the host repeated many times,"you are welcome to leave..." And I said many times "we have nowhere to go to at such a late hour". The heater was fixed next day but no drinking water. We booked this place with the understanding that it's going to be"countryside like" but So many details that this place is missing including the basics, like drinking water and heating.
