- The hotel is on a busy road. Noise mitigation with double glazed windows was effective - and would be completely fine for majority of visitors. Those particularly sensitive to noise might want to request a room at back of hotel (not sure if these exist, but might be worth asking).

Excellent, efficient hotel. Polite and friendly staff. Great breakfasts. Very well placed for rail holiday. And close to St Gallen. But Bischofszell yielded unexpected interest. Notably the excellent local museum - open on Sunday afternoons, and local walks across meadows and rivers.

Spacious room with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Very clean throughout and the staff were friendly and helpful
Convenience to train. Room was comfortable .hallways had character and were different from each other.

Having stayed at Le Lion 18 months ago, I was pleased to see that it maintains its high standards. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although the hotel faces a road with heavy commercial traffic, the rooms are well-insulated against traffic noise. The breakfast buffet is excellent.
