This is an amazing place to stay. Unique and surprising, beautiful and personally enriching. The building itself is a piece of history filled with global artworks and frescos from the 16th century. The suites are stunning and having the opportunity to stay there a few days is a real privilege. They are filled with beautiful artworks, and very well appointed, with shower and a free- standing marble bath. The bed is large and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was a fantastic experience: five star food, served on exquisite plates and silverware. Every item has been chosen with a lot of care and attention to detail. The breakfast room has a piano which we played during breakfast which added a sentimental feeling to breakfast experience Palazzo Tomassi is located in the very centre of Cortona, a stunning town in Tuscany. The host is kind, helpful and personable. Very quick to help if you need anything. If you enjoy history, art and beautiful things, this is a dream destination.
