Located on 1,200 feet of private Long Island beach, this hotel is located in Montauk, New York. It features 2 heated outdoor pools, a beach bar, and free Wi-Fi. The Queen Rooms and Deluxe Rooms at the Royal Atlantic Beach Resort are equipped with a flat-screen TV, kitchenette, under-counter fridge, microwave, 2-burner stove top and a coffee maker. These rooms have either a pool view, a side ocean view or an ocean front view. All Deluxe rooms, Queen rooms and One-Bedroom Suites get a free full breakfast at our restaurant on premise from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. Pros +
- I do not know where the breakfast would have been. We saw the check in office. The man said nothing more than pointing us towards our room. Everything about the place says its good enough you're in nontauk and we aren't upgrading anything because we still make a lot of money.
- I liked that the property was in montauk. I liked that there were was no carpeting. Lots of hot water I guess because we were probably the only 2 rooms being rented since it was out of season.
- Great location. Large room. Very clean. Friendly staff
Cons -
- Place hasnt been upgraded since the 80s. Clean yes, so kudos to cleaning staff. And I am sure it is difficulty with winter but parking area and smaller roads could have used sand.
- The property smelled of mildew and is very outdated. Furniture is outdated. Bathroom is extremely outdated. The bathroom door had remnants of what once were hooks.
- The room next to us had a dog in the room. It was loud at times. Also the smell of weed came into our room at times. and It was not us. The TVs in room 117 were very fuzzy. Bad reception.
