Located directly beside Lake Starnberger See, this traditional-style hotel in Seeshaupt offers free WiFi in the entire hotel. The small pool area contains a steam room, sauna and a tepidarium. The elegant rooms at the Seeresidenz Alte Post feature a TV, a cozy seating area, and big windows with scenic views. Rooms for disabled guests are available. The Alte Post Seeshaupt is a great base for activities including cycling, water sports, and golf. Munich city center is 45 minutes away by car.

Pros +
- Its location is perfect. Quiet, lakeside, next to the main shops of the village.
- Stunning location, kindest most helpful staff, great food. Very homely and welcoming.
Cons -
- It was under renovation. Rather old, there is no AC, etc.
- No laundry facilities for miles! I didn't find out about one at Weilheim for days, and went all the way to Munich to get my clothes washed.
