A few points as mentioned above meant we were slightly disappointed.
Friendly staff, lovely food. We were kindly given an upgrade which was a nice touch..although the shower next to the bedroom did not work so we asked to be moved to our original room.
Small details, not cleaned thoroughly from previous guest, toilet bin not emptied and previous guests half finished drinks left in room.

Exceptional
The hotel is superb, the style is unique!
It is extremely clean!
Every night we had cards waiting for us in the room with historical facts about the area, that's a great idea!
Breakfast is not optional, it is served. On the first day we thought it was not ok, but in the end it is quite enough and you don't stay hungry. However, I would recommend more variety!
I don't know if it's because of the vacationers, but during the day there wasn't any music even at the pool

A wonderful place in a stunning location with exceptional staff.
The staff were without exception efficient, friendly and a credit to the hotel. The staff could not do more to help.
There were a small number of staff who worked long shifts brilliantly and it was really super to see the same faces each day.
The location was stunning with direct access to the sea and walking distance to various restaurants and a supermarket.
A tiny tiny thing! There could have been hooks put on the bathroom doors to enable us to dry towels etc. This would also mean we could reuse towels more saving washing machine cycles.
Also environmentally each day we were given new plastic water bottles which I appreciate is extremely common in hotels but I hope we can move away from this soon.
