Liked very much this place for atmosphere: small quiet village, nice old building.Spacious room, comfy bed, kettle with tasty teabags, fridge.Delicious and varied breakfast.Free parking nearby.

Few nuances but all was sorted out.We came before the end of check-in, but there was nobody. We phoned - no answer. So, that was confusing. In a while a guy came who however didn't speak English.Not sure what was wrong - payment terminal or my card. So I couldn't use it and paid in cash.

Breakfast, dinner and lokation

Everything was as expected or better - room, bathroom facilities in, breakfast, etc.

We were absolutely delighted to stay in such a cozy place. The hotel offers free parking and a fantastic breakfast — there was even champagne, hot dishes, sweets, a wide variety of cheeses, cold cuts, yogurts, cereal bars — everything you could wish for! Our room had a fridge, a kettle, a very comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom. We were especially pleased with the bright yellow bed linen — such a cheerful detail. The spa area was also amazing, with a great sauna, jacuzzi, and foot massage machine. The hotel’s architecture was truly beautiful and full of character.

There was nothing we didn’t like — everything exceeded expectations.

The family apartment was very cozy and spacious. The hotel’s rustic exterior is nice. Free hotel parking. Towels and linnens were clean. Two entrances to the hotel.

The breakfast seemed okay but we couldn’t eat much because of all the flies that were on there. Some of the food was also uncovered or partially covered. We didn’t find water to drink in the breakfast buffet though.When we entered the apartment, it was full of mosquitoes and flies because they let the windows open and there weren’t any insects nets. We slammed them ourselves wherever we saw them. The floor and kitchen’s drawers could’ve been cleaned better.

Room is furnished in a homely style. Heating is excellent.The bed is extremely soft and the pillow is very thick and large.The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. There is also a table and two chairs.Breakfast was delicious and colorful enough.

Second time here. Cosy, lovely people working there, great breakfast, affordable, close to the motorway.

A surreal and a beautiful place to reflect and quieten your inner world. A wonderful staff who are kind and attend to their customers needs. The town is a beautiful part of Germany with friendly people who are kind and helpful

Easy access to Saale cycle path and access to train within 1mile.

Train platform difficult to find, not enough coffee in the morning, staff overwhelmed.

It is a decent place to spend a night. There is not much around except peace and quiet and lots of nature. The best thing was the staff, very friendly and helpful. Also the food in the restaurant is quite good. Everything else was all right.

This hotel is truly a wonderful place to spend a night or a week . The family owned facility is just perfect . Along the bicycle trail with great secure inside parking for the bicycles. The staff is really friendly and very helpful . There are two Chefs - one is Michael and the other’s name is ?? . Both are not only very good cooks but are excellent conversationalists and full of all kinds of historic information . The room was superb - we stayed in room #2 . All kinds of special decor and great yellow duvets. Bathroom was exceptionally clean and had toiletries. The food at the on-site restaurant was wonderful . A eclectic menu with Ukrainian Soups , German , Italian choices plus others . Price point was reasonable. The breakfast was also quite good . Met the owners the next morning and could tell that they had great pride in their hotel and wanted very much to please their hotel guests .

Try as hard as I can I really can’t find anything to dislike

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and well equipped for the price. The parking was spacious. The food was superb - an unusual variety, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. The town was lovely and peaceful. It was very relaxing sitting on the balcony.

Lots of dust in the air which settled everywhere because the fields were being ploughed. Otherwise faultless.
