Pros +
- Everything at the hotel was really great. The room was huge with good lighting, excellent heat, nice shower. Breakfast was excellent (the coffee machine only makes black coffee but the proprietor was kind enough to add foamed milk so I could have a cappuccino). The parking was secure.
- Wonderful place, with very nice people running it. Room was comfy, just missed having a shower instead of the big tub - but that's just me!
Cons -
- The staff only speaks French! Fortunately my husband and I are fluent but somehow I must have missed the detail about language. Also, the check-in time is listed as 5pm which can be a problem. When I made the reservation with Booking, they asked for our arrival time without noting that it was not possible before 5pm. Fortunately (again) the host was there and let us in at 4pm but if he hadn't and we arrived to see the sign announcing that check-ins were at 5pm, we would have been put out. Also, the restaurant dinner hours are minimal so if a visitor is planning to eat there, confirm their hours!!
