    Wonderful friendly staff. Great location inside garden - if u like it. Warm room (rare thing at Azores!). Very reasonable price in low season.

    Unbelievable service with lack of...
    - Absence of minimal conditions for 3 days (hot water for shower) -Waken up by the cleaning lady on the 2nd day at 9h30 in the morning since they required our room for cleaning of a septic tank that morning and we needed to change room asap. -Inadequate posture by the management/people in charge of the hotel, that were not even careful to contact us or present formal apologies. We have several times complained at the reception and requested to speak with the management which did not occur in the 6 days we were there. -Dead cockroach found in the room - As if this was not enough in our last night, when we came back to the hotel, our room was not cleaned since apparently we did not return the room key (which we also didn't do in the other days). Our room was uncleaned and the wet towels were still wet in the same place we left them. - The hotel did not have the decency to provide the client with a reimbursement (even if parcial for the days where the minimal conditions were not assured. The client was paying for a service that did not match the minimal requirements (hot water and cleaning services) - Even though they were not able to personally apologize or event talk to us about the subject, always using third people - other receptionists, or booking (with impolite emails about the client)- over the phone and after the stay was over, they have been extremely rude, and the same person that at check out presented himself as a mere receptionist and that did not know what happened during the stay (making us repeat everything), over the phone presented himself as the chief of reception and with greenlight from the management to do whatever he wanted. It was given his word that nothing would be done by the client in this situation since we did not deserve it. We expect at least that the complain made in the complain book proceeds as legally required.
