Hilton Garden Inn Historic Savannah

The location and convenience were great. Beds were really comfortable and rooms were nice.

Bathroom sink didn't want to drain. Housekeeping is supposed to clean the rooms and replenish toilet paper and towels every other day. This did not happen. We had to go down to the front desk and request more toilet paper. We also got charged twice for ballet. We have tried calling the hotel more than 20 times since we got home today and saw the additional charge. Every time someone answers the phone and we tell them what we need, the call disconnects.

Location is perfect. Walking distance to everything!

Gets noisy at night. Loud music and yelling by people who don’t respect others.

Elevators were a little on and off and the stairs were not easily accessible.

The location was excellent. One block from River Street, such a short walk. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff was amazing. Jameria and Polina were so helpful and kind. We definitely want to make another trip to this hotel.

The breakfast was good. You can also order from the menu. The location is awesome ?. It is only a block away from the river walk.

The valet parking was $48.00 per night. I thought was too much. I think the hotel should suggestion parking options for their guest.

The road was very load and $48 a day parking was a bit high but was normal for the area.

Pillows were horrible. TV was hard navigate. Shower was slick. Front desk was not attentive. $16 for breakfast was outrageous especially for what the cost of the room is. Parking was a little high.

Please keep in mind we are both in our 70's, so these are "old folks" comments. Staff was excellent. Every single person we encountered was bright, friendly, and helpful. That said, we were surprised there was no one available to assist with our luggage. The room was very clean and well maintained. For instance, the AC was loud when we first arrived, and the engineer replaced it immediately. The location is excellent. Walk out the front door, you're on River Street. Walk out the side door, you're in Savannah Market. Parking was convenient, and prompt. Keep in mind it's $45.00 a night.

Things I do not think you can fix. The heavy curtains (not the sheers) actually do not close. They are merely decorative, not functional. Our room overlooked Savannah Market, and the bright light shone into our room right through the sheers all night long. That was annoying. Ironically, when we WERE awake at night, we felt the room was not well lighted. There were a lot of small lamps all around, and the bathroom was quite bright, but even with everything turned on, the room was dim. Some folks might like that ambiance, and/or it might be energy efficient, but we would have liked more light. The balcony was a nice touch, but REALLY small.
