We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed the stay thouroughly. The rooms are always clean and well serviced, roomy and quiet. Staff is always happy and ready to assist. Great location if you are visiting Mayo, just a few minutes down the road.

The last room we had was in need of some minor repairs, mainly the shower would not turn off completely. It would constantly run a small stream that was noisy as it went down the drain. It was on the hot water side too, so leaving the door closed to block the noise, resulted in a foggy bathroom.

Took 20 min to get a room when arrived for check in at 3 pm - still doing housekeeping I guess. When finally got to our room the floors were soaking wet. Phoned front desk and requested another room in which initially couldn’t find an alternate but then got one a few minutes later.

The breakfast was good-a nice variety of food. The location was excellent and in a safe area.

The staff during check-in and check-out was courteous and efficient HOWEVER I called later on that evening (day of check-out) and didn’t get much help from them. I realized I had left my robe and nightgown on the hook behind the bathroom door, called immediately and the staff “couldn’t check the housekeeping closet”. A message was left for the morning staff. No return call. I called again mid-day and left another message with no return call. I went by the hotel later that day and guess what? No one knew anything! Apathetic customer service☹️I also found a couple of long hairs on the clean towels

My digital key did not work

We called ahead of time to make sure there was an indoor pool, as it was the beginning of our family vacation to Florida. We were forwarded to a booking agent who called the property and confirmed there was an indoor pool. We could’ve stayed at a cheaper hotel, but we chose this one because it was the only one in Jacksonville with an indoor pool. Once we got there, the pool was under construction, and closed, and when we mentioned it to the staff, they said there was no way they would’ve told a booking agent their pool was operational. They were really nice and asked the neighboring hotel if we could use their outdoor pool. It was extremely cold in the outdoor pool, but we appreciated the offer. We went back to the room, and the hot water wasn’t working. It wasn’t too big of a deal, at first. We went out to eat. When we got back, there was NO water at all, not just hot water. Our young kids needed to go to the bathroom and wash their hands, and we couldn’t flush the toilet or wash their hands. I figured I would go and get some water bottles from the vehicle, and bring up our suitcases for the night, and when we left the top floor, the elevator wasn’t working. Extremely miserable with 2 young kids, walking all the way up and down the stairs, carrying multiple suitcases, and water bottles to brush our teeth with since we were basically camping without water and plumbing in this hotel. Our toilet was full of feces and pee all night long until 9pm, when the water was finally turned back on. Our entire stay was one issue after the other. It actually makes me sick to my stomach to know we paid that much money to stay there that night. We could’ve had the same experience sleeping in our vehicle.
