Plim Plaza Hotel

Staff is friendly and helpful! Rooms are quite small but adequate. Pool and hot tubs are very nice, including the outside bar and grill!

Size of rooms. No chair(s) inside of a hotel room seems rare. Although very kind and helpful, we had to have a staff member twice about a plumbing issue.

We were there for jeep fest. Close to the activity’s Good food and drink at the hotel restaurants.

The room was small and the mattress was not comfortable.

Location is wonderful

Not the hotels fault, but guests were super noisy this time. A lady holding a crying baby in the hall at 11pm. Kids running up and down the hallways. I usually stay at the back of the hotel but my room was changed by a friend before I checked in. Next time I will stay where I normally do with peace and quiet

Hallways smelled strongly like Marijuana

Our 4th year staying here, and always have a wonderful time at the pool and pool bar. One of the best in O.C. The rooms are comfortable, not big, but adequate, and tub is nice too. We come for the pool, restaurants and boardwalk. They let us check out a little later, which was helpful. Free parking is great too.

At 9:30am the front desk approved a noon checkout and said they'd inform housekeeping, yet at 10:34am, the housekeeper opened door without even knocking! Why?..even before normal checkout time & "do not disturb" sign on door?! Not cool. Other than that, they were quiet and didn't bother us prior.Also there was no remote for TV in our rm#407, tho' we didn't need it as we had no desire to watch TV while on vacation. We just wondered why there was none.

Our room wasn't that close to an elevator so it was a walk to and from our room

The room was clean, housekeeping was great. Definitely needs to be upgraded. The sink and tub needs some drain cleaner, water backs up while taking a shower and using the sink. The carpet in the whole hotel needs replacing. I expect a nice bright

Rooms are very small.

The pool and hot tub, and being on the boardwalk! The refrigerator was cold and larger than expected, and the microwave was clean. The room was clean. The parking situation wasn't as bad as others made it sound. We had plenty of time to unload our stuff and then move our car to the free lot for the hotel. We didn't mind the short walk.

Small beds, like others have mentioned in their reviews, and the room itself is on the smaller side. The TV was a decent size but the screen was fuzzy and our options there were limited. But we weren't mad about it because we didn't need the TV very much. The elevator is large and functional but the door closes very quickly, and other guests warned us about that. We did request towels and didn't get them.
