Located in the scenic Defereggen Valley in East Tyrol, this nonsmoking 4-star superior hotel combines modern architecture with natural materials such as wood and glass. Spa Hotel Zedern Klang features a 3.3 ft² spa area with an indoor and an outdoor pool. At the Zedern Klang, you can enjoy relaxing massages, extensive beauty baths, various beauty and Ayurveda treatments, beauty packs, revitalizing face masks, and much more. The spacious rooms feature wooden beds, parquet floors, a mini-bar, safe, TV, and bathroom with hairdryer and make-up mirror. The balcony in each room overlooks the village of Hopfgarten, the mountains, or the river. Awarded 2 toques by the Gault Millau guide, the restaurant serves Austrian and international gourmet cuisine. Half-board includes a breakfast buffet and a 5-course dinner with a choice of dishes. At this hotel, all energy comes from hydro power, and the swimming pools come without chlorine. The St. Jakob and Großglockner Resort Ski Areas are only a few miles away from Spa Hotel Zedern Klang and can be reached with a free hotel shuttle. The Hohe Tauern National Park in the vicinity offers many hiking and mountain biking trails.

- Excellent new establishment in a beautiful natural setting. Very nice room, small balcony with a view. Stylish interior design made of wood. Fine breakfast. Nice and friendly staff. Underground parking available.
- The breakfast was typical with a large selection of cheeses, hams, jams, fruits,... But the real attraction was the dinner. I have not yet eaten such good food for such a low price. The room had a lovely smell of a freshly cut wood. The staff in general was very friendly and useful and made us feel very welcome. The location is great for exploration of the Defereggental.
