Located in the center of this Navarran village, Parador de Olite features a fabulous location in a 15th-century castle. Declared a national monument, it has classically decorated bedrooms and a Medieval atmosphere. Behind the robust, stone walls of the Parador de Olite lies a magical hotel with stained-glass windows, arched walkways and decoration which have been carefully selected to create an ambiance of majesty and luxury. Sit in the communal lounges with antique furnishings, attractive tapestries and atmospheric lighting. Here you can also browse the wireless internet for free. Sample regional specialties in the Olites restaurant - you will feel like king or queen of your very own castle within the Parador de Olites' impressive dining room.

Pros +
- The hotel was beautifully decorated, a lovely renovation of a part of the old castle. We chose a larger room with sitting area. Much of the original features of the castle were in evidence everywhere but we still had a modern bathroom-with two sinks!
Cons -
- There is a beautiful common room with sofas and comfy chairs plus two huge fireplaces. Unfortunately they do not use the fireplaces anyone. There apparently was some report of smoking 20 or 30years ago and the fireplaces were not updated.
