A spacious family room, basic amenities, very centrally located in a cute village

Breakfast was 9,5€ / person, whereas on Booking it says 6,5€

Staff were friendly and was extremely clean

The pillow on the bed could do with being more comfortable

Accommodations a little spartan but completely satisfactory. Air conditioning would have made since it was real hot a couple of days.

Thank you to the hotel staff, especially Frau Barbara for the great welcome. Although we arrived and departed at night, we had no problems settling in. Frau Barbara sent us detailed instructions. Although I do not know German this was not a problem. Everyone is very friendly and tries to help. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is located in the center of the city, from the window a magnificent view of the square and the mountains. Delicious European breakfast. There is a cafe in the hotel. On the square, also a lot of cafes and stores, market. Lovely city and hotel.

Lovely hotel in the center of a small town. We stayed in the family room which very large and well equipped with even a small kitchen (possibility to cook). The hostess was really friendly and made sure you have a comfortable stay. Breakfast was served in a separate room with a nice decoration and really good breakfast. There is no private parking but there is public parking nearby, depending on the day/time it's free. We stayed on sat-sun when parking was free.

The shower did not have a thermostatic faucet which would be a huge improvement (shower not getting hot/cold all the time). But this a really minor issue considering very few hotels have these.

Location in Hammelburg is great - right on the town's market square. Breakfast is good --- typical European continental breakfast. Room is quiet, even facing the square. My go-to hotel in Hammelburg.

Lots of noise from the square because of a local festival. And the church bell rang very loud at 6 in the morning. No AC and very warm rooms.
