You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of AUD 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Great property in need of TLC and proactive staff
The property is a good size and the view is gorgeous. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, ie visit all the theme & wildlife parks, which were between 10 and 30 mins drive away. The parking at the property was great once we realised we could use it (it certainly wasn't offered to us despite numerous messages about our anxiety being able to park our wheelchair accessible vehicle nearby). We had a daily visit on our balcony from lorikeets which was really special.
The property had a greasy smell, especially the kitchen area. We discovered grease up the cupboard doors, the door handles were filthy, the microwave was dirty from previous use. The skirting boards and door frames had spillages. It had a very poor standard of cleanliness throughout. After complaining, the points we raised were rectified, however, they could easily have been avoided in the first place. The sun loungers had seen better days, these were replaced. The property has so much potential but the lack of proper cleaning and general maintenance let's it down. We requested a new mop, twice, because the old one had fallen apart due to rust. (We needed one because the bathroom floor does not drain well/quickly enough). We ended up taping the old one up...
There is no sense of urgency from the staff at all. We were previously told in our email communication that we'd have to find on street parking for our vehicle because it wouldn't fit in the underground carpark, being 2.3m high. We were not told that the property had 10 carpark spaces right outside the front doors, one of which was clearly marked as a disabled bay. Why on earth would you not offer this to a wheelchair user staying here? We did not use either swimming pool because we didn't trust they were clean having experienced the cleanliness issues in the apartment.
The lack of care and attention to detail really lets this property down.
