- In need of investment!
- Helpful receptionist when we arrived.
- This hotel has recently changed ownership and the new patrons are in the process of upgrading the facilities, and have exciting plans for the restaurant. We had an excellent stay, fantastic quality and value food and drink in the restaurant, and care and attention to detail from the owners, who could not have done more to welcome us and make us feel at home.
Cons -
- Noisy road, poor quality room with no blinds or curtain for the bathroom!
- No hot water in the morning, so had to leave without washing. Bathroom light didn't work (and no window), which made things very difficult. Less than generous breakfast. Road noise kept us awake. Having to pay again for room at checkout despite having a receipt from Booking.com to show I had already paid.
- Some of the facilities are a little dated and in need of redecoration, but the owners are in the process of doing this, so we look forward to seeing the hotel once the redecorations are complete.
