This family-run, 4-star hotel in Stemmen is just a 30-minute drive from the Lüneburg Heath. It offers spacious rooms, a wellness area with free fitness room, and a restaurant. The quiet rooms of the Hotel Landgut Stemmen feature a modern bathroom with hairdryer and cosmetic mirror. All rooms include high-speed WiFi. Guests are welcome to relax in the Landgut Stemmen’s Finnish sauna, solarium. Other facilities include a bicycle rental service, 3 skittles alleys, and a shooting range. The Hotel Stemmen’s restaurant provides varied breakfast buffets and traditional German dishes. Local game and creative potato dishes are on the menu. The A1 motorway is 9.3 mi away from the Landgut Stemmen. Hamburg and Bremen are only about 1 hour away by car.

Pros +
- Super place but room v small.
- Nice dinner, good breakfast
- Everyone there was very helpful and good at communicating. I arrived after normal opening hours, but the procedure for getting my key was well described by email, and they even called me beforehand to check.
Cons -
- Room size.
- Shower was not working properly (limescale made difficult to create decent spray)
- Be aware that the EV chargers need to be unlocked by reception.
