The apartment was adequate for our purposes, warm and clean. Location was ideal.

Poor attention to detail such as crockery, utensils. Light fittings were poorly fitted and one did not have the matching shade. Only one breakfast bowl and there were chipped cups and plates. There was no toaster or grille in oven for making toast. There was no smoke detector albeit plenty warnings if you were the cause of it activating. TV only had news channels in English. No instructions on operating water heaters, cooker or washing machine. Squeaky doors disturbed partners sleep. Albeit instructions would be given on arrival by telephone, it was not made clear that the telephone was in fact the door entry system. It took me two unanswered calls before i worked that out.

Close to a few restaurants and grocery stores. Easy access to the city thru ruhrbahn.

No coffee machine in the apartment.
