The room was very comfortable and quite large. We were only there one nigh, so a nice bed was great after a day of traveling. Taxis outside to give you a ride.

No frig or bini-bar. No restaurant, well kind of one. Beers out of a machine downstairs were 80 yuan, when you could buy them at a shop for 5 yuan. No money exchange and bad directions to get to one.

The location is not that centrally located that you can find many malls or restaurants, nevertheless as the underground train station is just outside the hotel, it is very easily accessible to all the nearby shopping centres and all the points of interest in Luoyang.We have encountered good and efficient front desk staff like all the Holiday Inn Hotels we used in China, warm and willing to help to give the best assistance they could, they helped me to locate a Bank of China branch nearby which can help to update my latest passport details while I failed to do it twice at ZhengZhou

The location is a bit off central but with the help of subway station just next door, it helped to travel to all the points of interest easily

Location is great, just near a subway station, in a few stops from the high-speed train station and from the Peony square.The breakfast was very good with a great choice, room and bed were comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed was really comfortable and choice of pillows. The shower was great:spacious, good temperature, good pressure. The staff were very helpful and used translate app to communicate. The breakfast had a mix of international and Chinese dishes. The hotel was around 15 mins from the train station.

Request a non smoking floor if you don't like the smell of cigarettes. Leave plenty of time to get to the train station, traffic is very busy. No fridge in the room.

Room temperature control

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the bed was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was really, really good (the eggs were basically perfect) it was good value, and within walking distance to many restaurants. A bit far to the old town by foot, but the subway is literally right outside the hotel, so no issues whatsoever.

While the bed was comfortable and in good condition, the furniture in the room looked quite old and stained and in need of replacement. Also, the carpet could've used a clean, I think.

Quiet hotel out of the main centre. Breakfast was alright with a mix of some international standards eg cereal, toast, fruit, eggs etc and local dishes eg bao, noodles. Onsite self service laundry which can have a queue. Walking distance to some eateries and supermarkets. Good stopover to see the Shaolin temple if you are a fan.

Staff at the reception hardly speaks English, difficult to communicate

Good location next to the metro but required a short walk to nearby food and shopping. However it was still very convenient.

There was some construction during our stay

The room was very confortable. Great bed, great shower, nice view of the city. The staff was very helpful and helped us book a last minute tour.

The room cleaning could be better.

Stayed in this hostel for 2 nights. The room price is reasonable for a twin sharing room. Strategic location right next to metro station with a minute walk.Room is spacious cum with kettle, tea and coffee.Free wifi.Free breakfast with plenty of choices for Chinese local but minimal for western breakfast type.We are allowed to put our luggage in the baggage storage room after check out in the hotel and return to collect it back.

The only drawback is long queue for the coffee at the coffee machine during breakfast in the restaurant. There was something wrong with the coffee machine and lack of staff to look into it.

Location was near Luoyang High speed station, rooms were spacious & facilities such as self launderette & restaurants just a short walk away, wide spread of breakfast have my thumbs up???. Despite communication problems, they were very considerate & provided extra tea bags in our rooms

Non of the staff could understand or speak English which is a major disadvantage to foreign tourists .

The rooms seemed significantly larger compared to European Holiday Inns, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was acceptable, and the staff was polite and helpful. After check-out, we left our belongings in storage and picked them up later in the evening without any issues.

We checked in closer to the evening, and one of the rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes. We requested a room change, and our request was promptly accommodated, though our earlier request for adjacent rooms was not fulfilled.

Room was very spacious and clean. Right in front of the hotel is subway Line 2 (Citizen’s Home exit D). There’s Dennis Department store (丹尼斯百货) a few minutes walk away behind the hotel.

No one speaks English.

Good location with a subway station right at the corner, and shops and restaurants at a walking distance too. The staffs are helpful especially the housekeeping staff who is very attentive to the guests needs. Happy to see there is a free laundry provided. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Breakfast is more or less the same everyday (we stayed for 3 nights), serving fried beansprouts for consecutively 2 days. There should be more western variaties since they're a lot of foreigners' groups too.

One of few hotels in the city that accepts foreigners. Big room with a huge bathroom. Breakfast simple, but better than in many Chinese hotels. Laundry service is available, although I did not use it. Great location, close to the underground, though displays incorrectly in Apple Maps. Clean.

Not the newest hotel

Breakfast was a good spread of local hot dishes, meat, vegetables, soup, porridge, noodles, western cereals, bread, salads, fruits, coffee etc. The dinning area staffs are friendly and clean up table quickly. The room is quiet with a view of the main road. Good size room and simple bathroom with shower cubicle. Although the location is south of the river away from most of the attractions and old town it was nearer to the Longmen Grottos. Best of all is having the subway entrance of Line 2 just beside the hotel. (Citizens' Home) where the north bond train meets Line 1 at the Jiefanglu Station. All the major attractions are doted along Line 1 in the eastward direction. The staff at Front Desk are helpful and friendly.

The air condition was not working well. It was hot in the room and affected our sleep. The hotel explains that it is the central control system which they cannot rectify. They gave us a standing fan!

Great location, a few steps from subway. Very comfortable clean room and bed. No smoke.
